Last week, Mint released a story announcing that Dozee’s advanced AI-based contactless and continuous Patient Monitoring and Early Warning system (EWS) will be deployed in Jayadev Memorial Rashtrotthana Hospital and Research Centre. The hospital center is a leading Integrated Mulit-specialtiy Tertiary Care Hospital and this deployment helps lead the charge for a “Made in India” technology that will enhance patient care, as well as raise patient care standards.
This solution is meant to help clinicians monitor patients’ vitals, such as heart rate, respiration rate, blood pressure, SPO2 levels, temperature and ECG. Dozee’s EWS tracks vital parameters and provides alerts to providers for early detection of clinical deterioration, resulting in responsive medical intervention.
Dozee’s remote monitoring devices and EWS will be used to monitor non-ICU beds at Jayadev Memorial Rashtrotthana Hospital, totaling 162 beds with next generation patient monitoring technologies.
In a statement to Mint, Mudit, Dandwate, Dozee’s CEO and Co-founder, said:
“It’s our privelidge to join hands with a prestigious institution like Jayadev Memorial Rashtrotthana Hospital & Research Centre as we aim to leverage technology to enhance patient safety and improve clinical outcomes and nursing efficiency. Adoption of continuous ward monitoring and Early Warning Systems is povital for delivering quality healthcare at scale. This collaboration is a testament to the growing role of Indian innovation in shaping the future of healthcare globally.”
