Huawei aims to integrate style and technology with its latest health-focused and sport-ready wearables, unveiled at a product launch event this month in Barcelona.
The Chinese company said the Wearable Strategy & New Product Launch event marked a shift to a “fashion forward” proposition, taking integration between technology and fashion to the next level.
It says it wants to revolutionise the wearables industry by seamlessly fusing technology, fashion-forward design and user-centric health features that suit a modern lifestyle.
During the launch, Huawei presented a suite of upcoming devices, including Watch GT 4, the latest addition to its smartwatch series, FreeBuds Pro 3 high-fidelity TWS earbuds, stylish and comfortable Eyewear 2 smart glasses, the high-end Watch Ultimate Gold Edition, and PaperMatte tablets that eliminate 97% light interference and bring a paper-like reading and writing experience.
The aim is to let users personalise their health and sports journey without compromising style. The firm says it will integrate hardware detection technology, upgraded software algorithms and more comprehensive digital health services.
Huawei says it wants to forge global ecosystem partnerships to deliver personalised sports and healthy lifestyle experiences to consumers worldwide.
On design, the goal is continuous evolution to incorporate innovative materials and offer personalisation options, making each wearable a statement piece that complements the user’s style. Meanwhile, Huawei has elevated the wrist experience through high-end, durable materials and expanded personalisation options.
Health management features have been made possible through collaborations with academic and industry partners, ensuring the health data users receive are accurate and actionable.
Whether a professional athlete or someone just starting their fitness journey, the wearables are designed to make staying active approachable and enjoyable. With features such as the TruSport science-based system, Huawei says it has turned wearables into a personal coach on the wrist.
The GT 4 is the latest generation of the Watch GT flagship series that introduces elevated design features with health and fitness functionalities. Launched with 46 and 41mm sizes, they mark a step up from classic GT series designs, introducing design elements while retaining modern geometric aesthetics.
It also transforms the smartwatch fitness experience, introducing improved activity rings, the Stay Fit app and upgraded GNSS tracking, all made better with the TruSeen 5.5+ that brings AI-powered accuracy to health measurement.

The Watch Ultimate Gold Edition is Huawei’s first gold smartwatch. It comes with a gold bezel and a gold crown with 3D trapezoidal patterns carved through the diamond-cut engraving process, as well as a gold PVD titanium strap with adjustable butterfly buckle, presenting a layered visual effect that gives the watch an eye-catching yet understated look.
FreeBuds Pro 3 balances design aesthetics with audio technology. It has a one-piece smooth glass case crafted from nano-processed glass material, along with an ultra-hearing dual driver for clearer treble and booming base, and upgraded triple adaptive EQ for authentic sound quality.
The event also saw the launch of the Eyewear 2 that offers balanced design aesthetics with audio technology, as well as PaperMatte tablets that bring consumers better viewing experience with its paper-like display.
Fitness and lifestyle influencer Pamela Reif and multiple gold medallist Sir Mo Farah made appearances at the event as Huawei’s newly-appointed wearable product ambassadors.
“It’s incredible to think that both Huawei and I started out on our fitness journeys at the same time,” said Reif. “In the ten years since I began as a professional fitness trainer, technology has played a hugely significant role in helping people live healthier lives. Huawei is at the forefront of that innovation, but doing so in a really cool way. I’m excited to be part of this future and beyond.”
Sir Mo added: “The insights my coaching team and I were able to extract from the watches proved invaluable as I competed at the highest level. As I transition from professional running to a more leisurely lifestyle, I’m excited to explore what life has to offer beyond the track by wearing the watches for day-to-day activities and as a fashion piece. That’s where Huawei’s watches really shine. They look as good as they work.”
