Chinese firm Gymera has introduced a smart fitness mirror that provides personalised workouts for every family member, with a special focus on senior users.
Powered by AI technology, the MA-001 generates customised workout plans based on the user’s posture, health data and fitness goals. Whether for teenagers, adults or seniors, it offers exercise programmes tailored to each user’s physical condition, ensuring safe and effective workouts.
Workout courses include light stretching, rehabilitation exercises, and cardio and strength training. Wellness programmes target the needs of senior users, preventing injuries from overexertion and motivating them to stay engaged with fun, interactive content.
With the remote care feature, family members can monitor the progress of their elderly loved ones’ workouts anytime, providing support and encouragement. Additionally, it supports interactive fitness challenges between family members.
Sensors track key health metrics such as heart rate and calories burned in real time. This is useful for seniors and users in rehabilitation, helping them better manage their health, while family members can monitor through the app remotely.
Designed to fit into home environments, it operates quietly, ensuring that even during high-intensity workouts, it won’t disturb daily household activities.
Through scientifically supported rehabilitation exercises and safe workout monitoring, the MA-001 helps seniors stay healthy comfortably at home, while reducing the risk of exercise-related injuries. Paired with personalised workout plans, users can gradually rebuild their physical strength.
Gymera has also introduced the NC001 smart fitness device for women. It combines multiple functionalities, including pilates, rowing and hip thrusts, addressing common fitness pain points. This device is made from eco-friendly, skin-friendly materials and can be folded for easy storage, making it suitable for home use or spaces with limited room. A smart motor allows for precise strength training for individual body parts, with an adjustment precision of up to 0.5kg.
Both products will be on show in Hong Kong at the Global Sources Consumer Electronics Show (www.globalsources.com/trade-fair/hongkongshow/ce) from October 27th to 30th.
Founded in 2022, Gymera Technology (en.gymeratech.com) focuses on smart fitness devices for homes and individuals.
