Smart, connected devices are all the rage when it comes to IoT. Research firm Gartner says there will be 6.4 billion connected devices in use in 2016, an increase of 30% from 2015. As more components of your IoT infrastructure becomes connected, the demand for a solution that protects manufacturers and their end-customers from hackers, malware, and unsafe operations continues to increase. So how will you secure your existing IoT devices and prepare your infrastructure for the double-digit increases that are occurring year-over-year? Paul Roberts, Publisher & Editor in Chief, The Security Ledger

Rob is the Senior Director of Product Management at PTC, where he oversees the direction of the ThingWorx Foundation product portfolio. In addition to his expertise in Internet of Things (IoT), Rob has extensive experience in security, web services, and cloud solutions. Rob’s product management and product marketing background includes positions at Axeda Corporation, RSA Security, 3Com, and Vertical Communications. Rob received his MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and holds two Bachelor of Science degrees from Washington University in St. Louis in Computer Science and System Science and Engineering.
