Event Detail

For years, 2G and 3G networks have provided M2M and IoT organizations with the network connectivity capabilities required to power their solutions. Today, though, the cellular connectivity landscape is changing as 2G and 3G are set to be gradually phased out in the coming years in favor of LTE.

During this presentation, KORE’s EVP of IoT Solutions, Bill Kramer, will provide the guidance necessary for organizations to identify and implement the future-proofed network technology that works best for their unique business requirements, covering topics such as:

Impact of global 2G and 3G network shut downs

Low Power Wide Area Network (LPWAN) alternatives to 2G and 3G, including emerging LTE technologies Cat-1,
Cat-M1, NB-IoT

Industry-specific use cases and LPWAN applications

Best practices for implementation and migration
