CRA is Coming! CRA is Coming! What Does That Mean?

The EU’s Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) can bring stiff fines for companies selling consumer products in Europe if they get breached, and those companies (and their vendors!!!) will be expected to document steps they’ve taken to conform to the CRA. This session will provide a basic primer on what you can do now to protect yourself regarding the CRA, as well as coming EU regs like NIS2 and RED that go well beyond consumer markets.

SBOM Security – Constant Updating will be Key

Mandatory compliance for “constant monitoring” of IoT deployments in Europe will soon be in effect starting mid-2026 and are sure to be harmonized in the Asia and North America. This means that IoT consumer-device sellers in Europe will be forced to provide documentation that original firmware is safe and that subsequent updates are as well. This session will examine how these requirements might be achieved.
