NES lands Linz Netz smart meter contract




Austrian utility Linz Netz has selected California-based Networked Energy Services (NES) to expand its smart meter infrastructure. The order is for over 80,000 single and poly-phase smart meters and supporting communications infrastructure and software, with an optional extension of 60,000 meters, to be delivered over four years.

OATI uses LoRa to connect Flora meters




The city of Flora in Illinois has chosen Minnesota-based OATI’s AMIoT LoRa-based advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) to assist with revamping its metering system. This should give Flora up-to-the-minute metering and smart technology to serve residents.

Tennessee energy consultancy EnerNex has been awarded a US Trade & Development Agency (USTDA)-funded smart grid study project contract to support Côte d’Ivoire Énergies (CI-Energies) in improvements to the Côte d’Ivoire grid.

Bidgely AI saves energy for Rocky Mountain Power




Utah-based Rocky Mountain Power has achieved over 41GWh energy savings with artificial intelligence (AI) home energy reporting from California-based Bidgely. The energy reporting is said to be driving savings for non-smart meter customers at nearly 25% less cost than traditional home energy reports.
