Alexander Bufalino has been Chief Sales Officer of 1nce since January 2018.Prior to that, Alexander served as SVP Sales & Marketing at Kore Wireless, one of the leading managed service providers for IoT and M2M. From 2005 through 2016 Alexander worked for Telit Communications PLC, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer, and was responsible for building the brand into a global leader in M2M / IoT business. Prior to Telit, Alexander served as Sales Director for Southern Europe at Siemens AG from 1998, before joining EnOcean GmbH in 2002 as International Sales Director. Syed Zaeem Hosain, CTO, Aeris Communications

Mr. Hosain is responsible for the architecture and future direction of Aeris’ networks and technology strategy. He joined Aeris in 1996 as Vice President, Engineering and is a member of the founding executive team of Aeris. Mr. Hosain has more than 38 years of experience in the semiconductor, computer, and telecommunications industries, including product development, architecture design, and technical management. Prior to joining Aeris, he held senior engineering and management positions at Analog Devices, Cypress Semiconductor, CAD National, and ESS Technology. Mr. Hosain is Chairman of the International Forum on ANSI‐41 Standards Technology (IFAST) and Chairman Emeritus of the IoT M2M Council (IMC). Lou Lutostanski, Vice President, Internet of Things, Avnet

Lou Lutostanski was named vice president, Internet of Things (IoT) for Avnet in March 2017. In this role, he works across the company to identify and create opportunities to leverage Avnet’s capabilities and expand the company’s reach and expertise to entrepreneurs, startups, leading technology OEMs and other IoT innovators, enabling them to bring IoT solutions to market, from idea to production. He reports to Pete Bartolotta, Chief Transformation Officer for Avnet.
Lutostanski has 30 years of experience and industry knowledge. He joined Avnet in 1987 as a system sales manager. Throughout the next 13 years, he gained increasing responsibility as a field application engineer, sales manager, branch manager, and vice president, area director. Lou left Avnet in 2000 and spent 12 years at Motorola/Freescale where he served as the global vice president of sales covering Hewlett Packard and Motorola, and then as vice president of sales and marketing for the Americas. Since his return to Avnet in 2013, he has served as vice president of sales for the Americas and as vice president of demand creation for the Americas.

Mikaël Schachne, VP Mobility Solutions, BICS

Mikaël Schachne joined the international division of Belgacom in 2001 which was then spun-off and merged with Swisscom International and MTN International. After having successfully led the product development and management of new international mobile data services such as Signalling, GPRS Roaming eXchange (GRX), SMS Hubbing, MMS Hubbing, Instant Roaming and Open Connectivity Roaming Hubbing, he's now in charge of Mobility Solutions at BICS. The portfolio which has been built across the last 10 years is now supporting international mobile communications needs for more than 500 Mobile Operators and MVNOs across the world. Mikaël Schachne previously worked for Winstar Europe and Mobistar where he gains extensive expertise in the implementation of telecommunications networks in the fields of GSM, GPRS, Wireless Local Loop, IP and SS7. Rose Schooler is vice president of the Internet of Things (IoT) Solutions Group and General Manager of Things Strategy and Technology Office at Intel Corporation. Mike Lynch is the President of Micro-Ant LLC. Micro-Ant LLC is an antenna and RF engineering and manufacturing company founded in 2001. Primary markets served include IoT/M2M, GPS, and satellite communications. Our company designs and manufactures innovative antennas for land, sea, and air. Chris Chang, Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing and Business Development, Semtech

Prior to joining Semtech, Mr. Chang was Chief Executive Officer at Alien Technology Corporation, a global leader in RFID Technology. As CEO, Mr. Chang used his skills to turn around the company’s financial performance, driving double digit revenue growth and profitability. The company achieved historical sales records while driving expansion in the U.S., China, and Europe. Mr. Chang has also held key executive positions in sales and finance functions at other prominent high technology companies including Marvell, AMD, Silicon Graphics, and Eastman Kodak.

Fred Yentz, President IoT Platforms, Telit


Fred Yentz joined ILS Technology, a Telit company, as senior vice president and chief operating officer in January 2007, bringing with him more than 20 years industry experience in the technology solution market. Prior to ILS Technology, Fred Yentz served as Vice President and General Manager of RadiSys Corporation, a leading provider of embedded solutions for the telecommunications, enterprise data, medical equipment and the industrial automation marketplaces. While at RadiSys Corporation, Fred served in many capacities including the oversight of World Wide Sales, Marketing, Professional Service, and Business Development in addition to General Manager of Enterprise, Communication and Commercial operating divisions. Fred also worked for IBM where he held various positions with responsibility for Engineering, New Business Development and Management.
Mr. Yentz is named as an inventor on two U.S. patents and has received IBM’s First Level Plateau Invention Achievement Award. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA), National Science and Technology Education Program (NSTEP), and is chairman of the Industry Advisory Board for Florida Atlantic University's College of Engineering. Stephen R Szabo, Head of Global Products & Solutions - Internet of Things, Verizon

Steve Szabo leads product and solution development for Verizon's Internet of Things (IoT) global business unit. A visionary leader, Steve has a successful 16-year track record with the company, pioneering customer-focused products, solutions and programs from ideation to delivery.
In his current role, Steve is responsible for establishing Verizon's leadership position in the IoT ecosystem by delivering products that resolve complex IoT challenges for customers. He owns product strategy, business development and commercialization for ThingSpace, Verizon's IoT enablement platform. Ludovico Fassati, Head of Vodafone IOT Americas, Vodafone

Ludovico joined Vodafone in August 2014 thanks to the acquisition of Cobra Automotive Technologies. Ludovico is now leading Vodafone IOT business in the Americas based out of the New York City office. Before this he was heading Vodafone IoT Vertical Market Development with responsibility for driving new business, new technologies (as NBIOT and IOT Satellite) and developing vertical industries such as smart metering, home automation, industrial equipment and m-health.
Prior to joining Vodafone, Ludovico was the CEO of Cobra Telematics (now Vodafone Telematics) leading 450 employees in 7 different countries. Ludovico started his career in the Private Equity industry in Italy and in the UK leading investments in different sectors such as logistics, luxury goods, gaming, renewable energies and food.

Joel Young, IMC Chairman 2016-2017

Joel Young founded IoT Advisors, a consultancy, in 2017. Mr. Young had been Sr. Vice President and CTO for Digi International since 2006. He joined Digi in July 2000 as Vice President of Engineering. Prior to joining Digi, Young served as a Vice President for Transcrypt International, a provider of encryption products, in various engineering, sales and marketing positions from February 1996 to June 2000. He held various engineering and management positions at AT&T and AT&T Bell Laboratories from 1986 to 1996. He holds degrees in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and holds 16 patents in various telecommunications and machine connectivity technologies.

Alex Brisbourne co-founded KORE in 2003 and served as its President and CEO until 2017, and currently retains a board seat with the company. He has over 30 years of experience in the networking and telecommunications industry in companies in Europe, North America, and Asia. As Managing Partner at Aegis Communications Investments L.P. he oversees investment in emerging media and communications initiatives.


Jürgen Hase, IMC Chairman 2013-2014

Jürgen Hase is the CEO of Unlimit, Reliance Group's IoT Business and has worked with the global telecommunications industry for more than 25 years to develop, implement and execute new businesses in different global markets.
Jürgen was Director-IoT/M2M with Ooredoo at the Group level, based in Qatar, responsible for implementing the IoT business for Ooredoo in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia, in multiple vertical segments such as Automotive, Telematics, Smart Cities, Healthcare, Insurance, and Energy. Before Ooredoo, he was Vice President of the M2M Competence Center at Deutsche Telekom (DT) for over a decade. As one of the founders, he helped DT develop this unit as one of the leading global players in the field of IoT.
