Global Supply Chain Is Transformed by IoT Connectivity
Date February 28, 2018
Time 11 AM EST (16:00 GMT)
The right connectivity solution can be key to optimizing your IoT enabled supply chain
By land, by sea, and by air, today’s supply chains are more global than ever. Automation of these supply chains has been enhanced by embedded M2M connectivity for years, and as IoT evolves, so do the capabilities of the supply chain. Many organizations are replacing traditional bar-codes with IoT enabled systems that deliver real-time data and improved management tools for distributors, operations teams, and customers.
In this session, leading satellite and network operators discuss the IoT supply chain marketplace, and the pros and cons of available connectivity technologies, with special emphasis on application use cases in the field, including how to tackle challenges in ubiquitous coverage, and cold-chain tracking of perishables.
