The privacy policy of the IoT M2M Council (formerly the “International M2M Council”) is applicable to all IMC Sustaining Members, Adopter Members, and Partner Affiliates. All IMC publications and content are subscribed to in an “opt-in” fashion with full consent of the recipients. The IMC does not share any direct contact information (name, email, phone, etc.) from its membership with non-members in any way. The association does, however, share such information among IMC member companies and individuals. The IMC encourages all of its members to take every opportunity to communicate with fellow members to educate and inform.
The IMC does produce some publications (e.g., IoT Newsdesk, The International Journal of IoT Law & Public Policy) and events that are accessible to both members and non-members, and the organization will distribute materials from third parties only to subscribers and attendees that have “opted-in” to receive such materials.
